In the clip, little Carl received instruction from his coach. The mentor told the youngster to establish his grounding before swinging, which is something that adds both power and control to the hit. Carl Leo shocked the onlookers as he delivered a swing that sent the ball far out into the field. “It don’t mean a thing if you ain’t got that swing,” proud mom Evelyn Lozada told her Instagram fans. Carl Leo definitely appears to have the gift.
Evelyn Lozada welcomed her son with former MLB star Carl Crawford 21 years after welcoming her daughter, Shaniece, from a previous relationship. The celebrity mom explained the glaring differences in parenting that she has noticed since becoming a mom for the second time during a 2017 interview.
“Raising a boy is very different than raising a girl,” Evelyn shared. “Shaniece was very calm and quiet; Leo is very active and has so much energy. The technology the second time around is way more advanced too,” Evelyn added.
Lozada manages to balance the age disparity between her son and daughter with the power of communication. “Always keep the lines of communication open,” the celebrity mom advised during her interview in 2017. “My daughter and I talk about everything with no judgment from me, so she always comes to me for advice instead of her friends.”
