Heaven Hart is taking after her father, Kevin Hart, as a funny person. Kevin tells James Corden of The Late Late Show that his daughter is turning into quite the comedienne.
“My daughter makes me laugh,” Kevin reveals. “That’s a big deal to me,” the celebrity father adds. “She has an impression. My daughter can do a knockdown impression of me.”
Kevin goes on to tell Corden that there are many who do impressions of him. “I’ve seen Jay Farrow; it’s funny. I’ve seen DJ, Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson. He has a funny Kevin Hart impression. Bryan Cranston does a funny Kevin Hart impression.”
None of these performances, however, outshine Heaven Hart’s impression of her father. “My daughter does an exact replica,” Kevin reveals. “She goes, ‘Hey, dad who’s this?’ And she’ll do an impression of me onstage. She’ll go, ‘My name is Kevin Hart. I work real hard.’ She does the laugh.”
Heaven Hart definitely seems to follow in the steps of both mom and dad. The youngster’s mother, Torrei Hart, also works in comedy. There is this thing of teenage years, however, that Heaven is currently going through, which makes life a bit more complicated for dad.
“She’s everything that I would want, but she’s a teenager,” Kevin tells Corden. “You battle with teenagers,” the celebrity father adds. “There’s no such thing as winning a conversation with teenagers. So I let them do what they want.”
Heaven and her younger brother Hendrix are Kevin Hart’s kids with the comedian’s ex-wife, Torrei Hart. The celebrity father also has a son named Kenzo with his wife, Eniko Hart.
