Former child actor Orlando Brown appeared on the Dr. Phil show today for what is being called an intervention. Orlando Brown’s friend and manager, Solomon Barron, turned to Dr. Phil because he believes Orlando is “obviously delusional,” homeless, and battling mental health issues.
“His whole life is in shambles right now, and he doesn’t quite understand that,” Solomon revealed during his segment. Barron took Orlando under his wigs to provide food and shelter for a time but eventually had to ask the child star to leave. “Financially and emotionally, I’m at my limit,” Barron shared.
There may be a bit of validity to Solomon Barron’s claims. Orlando Brown, who wore snake eye contacts to his interview with Dr. Phil, claimed to have many kids who he hopes to take back to live with him in Neverland someday.
“I’ve got a 2-year-old, a 5-year-old, eight and eleven [year-old],” the actor said with regard to how many kids he fathered. “The 2-year-old is still in the belly,” Orlando replied when asked about the name of his youngest child. “We don’t know yet,” he said.
At one point during the interview, Dr. Phil told Orlando Brown that he was asked the question about his kids’ ages earlier and shared that he was the father of a 16-year-old child. Brown responded to the discrepancy by saying, “Honestly, I see my kids everywhere. But, like I said, I barely see them. I don’t know them. They don’t know me. That’s what this whole thing is about; being able to identify and, you know, get back with my kids and stuff.”
In the end, Orlando rejected Dr. Phil’s offer for an intervention, but then later agreed to treatment. “I’m four years sober for a reason,” the actor said. “I just now got out of rehab. I just got out of ER. I’m not doing no more time away from my kids other than [what] I need to. I appreciate that, but me being free after being locked behind bars for no reason, and being set up, I can’t dedicate another 90 days of being monitored all my life. I don’t need that crap like other people. It’s a slap in the face to people that actually need it.”
So how many kids does Orlando have? We don’t know either, but he reportedly has four kids, one of whom is with his ex-fiancee Omena Alexandria. Hunter Duke Brown, pictured above, just turned two on December 4th.
