Recently Mel B. was injured in England, having to undergo emergency surgery for two broken ribs, and a severed hand. Mel B shared the news when she took to her Instagram last week to thank the doctors and nurses that cared for her while she was in the hospital.
“Thank you to all the wonderful nurses Dr’s and my amazing surgeon for the care and expertise given to me here at the hospital I’ve been staying at, suffering 2 broken ribs a severed right hand needing emergency care, to having had to have over a 3 hr surgery to repair the damage hence the purple sling[sic].”
Having to remain in England, adhering to doctor’s orders, the 43-year-old can rest easy, focusing on recovery, knowing that her 11-year-old daughter, Angel Iris Brown-Murphy, is being well taken care of by dad, Eddie Murphy, in Los Angeles.
While mom is in England, Angel is getting the opportunity to spend a lot of bonding time with her new born baby brother and additional 10 siblings. Murphy has a total of 10 children all ranging in age from two-weeks-old to 29-years-old.
“He’s such a loving, caring, respectful person,” Mel B gushed earlier this month on Steve Harvey’s syndicated talk show regarding Eddie Murphy. She also acknowledged that the exes have come a long way in their relationship. “It took a while to get there because we broke up not in the happiest circumstances. We were madly in love and we’ve got a gorgeous daughter to prove it,” she told Harvey. “And now everything’s good!”
Mel B. also is mother to Phoenix, 19, and Madison, 7.
