Grown-ish Actress, 18-year-old Yara Shahidi has become the face of a generation. From Black-ish to her own spin-off show, Grown-ish, and everything in between, Shahidi has truly given audiences the opportunity to watch her mature onscreen. As a Harvard freshman, Shahidi is not only dedicated to furthering her education but making sure that, through her activism, she is also helping to educate the masses. “No matter what movement you decide to associate with, we are going to fight for you as a full human. Because you should be allowed the space to enter as a full, whole person.”
