We are clutching our pearls! Eniko and Kevin Hart gave their son, Kenzo Hart, a first birthday party to remember that was both cute and controversial. The cuteness came in the form of incredible decorations and a beautiful cake. The controversy was centered around the overall theme of Kenzo Hart’s party.
Eniko and Kevin Hart gave their son a “Cowboys and Indians” themed bash this past weekend. The celebrity couple had everything from teepees to bandanas to bring Kenzo’s Midwest World to life.
Some loved the creativity that came out of Kenzo Hart’s first birthday party. Many scores, however, took offense to the theme because of its connection to a troubled portion of United States history in which Native Americans clashed in the worst way with settlers who were trying to take new territory.
Perhaps Kevin and Eniko did not understand the history behind the theme of their son’s party. Maybe the celebrity couple decided to focus on other things such as their son’s love for cowboys.
“I think people are to get a life and quit whining about a little party,” one of Kevin and Eniko’s fans wrote in defense of the celebrity couple. “It’s a matter of free speech,” the follower added. Another of Eniko’s fans wrote, “What a creative and exceptional birthday party theme. It is a celebration, nothing but positive so why take offense? It should be considered a compliment.”
