The angry boy in the school photo, also known as the “Pop-tart Kid,” is now a viral star all because of one school photo. The youngster, whose real name is Makari Arnold, took school photos last year that featured him while frowning from ear to ear. Makari had, according to someone posing as his father online, turned sour over a Pop-tart incident that unraveled before the little one took pictures.
“Y’all pray for my son,” the fraud wrote. “[There’s] nothing wrong with him, but I ate his Pop-tart before his class picture and he said he'[s] never smiling again.” The random stranger gave those who felt bad for Makari an opportunity to donate via a cash app. Some generous hearts contributed funds, which is why LaShunta Arnold a.k.a Tantarnea, little Makari’s mother, deemed it necessary to address her son’s popularity with a bit of unease.
“So Kari’s school pics from last year has gone viral,” The child’s mother said. “Nothing we can do about that part…it is what it is,” she continued. “There are a lot of posts/memes going around about him, and I must admit, some are hilarious. But it still doesn’t sit well with me that he’s being posted worldwide. But like I said, it’s out there now and we can’t stop it.”

Although LaShunta is not trying to keep her son from being a viral sensation, the concerned mother did express distaste over some folks trying to monetize her son’s photos or claim Makari as their child. “That is not funny,” LaShunta said. “I don’t care if it is just a joke. Don’t be out here trying to use our son for likes or money. That’s lame and so disrespectful.”
