Skylar Diggins and her husband, Daniel Smith, are expecting a child! The WNBA player announced her pregnancy via Instagram on Wednesday (October 17).
“Can’t wait to meet you,” Skylar captioned underneath a video clip of a hospital monitor that showed fans the ultrasound of her and Daniel’s unborn child. “Can’t wait for the new addition to the family,” one Instagram subscriber said. Another of Skylar’s social media followers wrote, “Congrats to you and your family.”

Skylar Diggins met her husband during her time at the University of Notre Dame. She and Daniel wed last year in Spring.
Diggins was drafted by the WNBA in 2013. She currently plays for the Dallas Wings, which is a team that could take the championships by storm in the near future. “I’m anxious to go this season,” Skylar said during an interview with One Foot Down last year.
