What better way to kick off the holiday season than with a new charity? Monica Brown launched her Be Human Foundation earlier this week with the support of LeToya Luckett and her husband, Tommicus Walker.
“Nothin’ but love for these ladies,” LeToya shared online along with a picture of her posing with Monica and good friend, Toya Wright at the launch event. Luckett was definitely glowing while sitting between her friends who also looked fabulous.
Be Human Foundation is meant to spread awareness about breast cancer and raise funds for research to find a cure. Monica got her charity off to a good start by wearing pink in honor of breast cancer awareness. The celebrity mom also donated $5,000 to a cancer survivor.
“I’m honored to be able to help others in any way possible,” Monica said of her latest charity efforts. “#BeHumanFoundation started in my heart,” she added. “I pray the work we do touches, mends, and fulfills hearts worldwide.”
Monica Brown joins LeToya Luckett and Toya Wright on T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle. The show is a sort of spin-off that continues the narrative of hard work leading to success that T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle bolstered during its six seasons of Reality TV.
“They are the lovable first family of VH1,” Nina Diaz, head of unscripted series for VH1, says of the upcoming series. “We love them, and we love all of the kids. We love what they have shared and what they stand for and we would love to continue to see what evolves and develops.”
