Just in time for Halloween! Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween hits theaters this Friday. Garcelle Beauvais and her sons, Jaid and Jax, were three of many to get a sneak peek of the film this past weekend at Sony Picture Studios in Culver City, California.
The boys were definitely rocking casual wear reminiscent of the film. Both Jax and Jaid’s t-shirts bolstered the characters in the movie. Garcelle went the route of fierce fashion as she rocked a multi-colored blouse with black pants.
Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween is bound to give you a few laughs and a couple of screams. R.L. Stine’s scary yet comical world continues to unravel on the big screen as the film’s leading kids explore new adventures and even more creepy stuff. When asked about his motivation to bring the stories of R.L. Stine to the big screen, Goosebumps filmmaker Rob Letterman alluded to the notion of reviving a segment of Hollywood that has seemingly lost its stamina over the years.
“Tone is the most important thing, and a lot of it is just, for me, there’s no rules to it,” Letterman explained. “What I did was — it’s about balancing out the fun and the scares. But more importantly, in all those old movies, one thing I always remembered was, they were very grounded. They always started in a very real world setting. There’s a real family dynamic. There are characters that are dealing with real issues.”
