Donesha Hopkins is proving that she is definitely conquering #younghollywood one role at a time. From her time on the Starz hit Power to her most recent role as Bobbi Kristina Brown in The Bobby Brown Story, this talented teen is definitely on her way up the ladder of success.
Hopkins’ role as Bobbi Kristina was an emotional one, yet, it wasn’t her first emotionally heavy role. Besides Power, the young 16-year-old has guest starred in an episode of Law & Order SVU, Orange is the New Black, and The Detour.
In terms of portraying Bobbi Kristina, Hopkins stated, while appearing a Black Girls Rock, that, “I feel like everyone looked at her as just the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown instead of an actual person.”
When she’s not in front of the camera, Hopkins is a “normal” teenager. She likes to order burgers from Postmates, she tweets regularly, and takes plenty of selfies for Instagram. Additionally, like most of those in Generation Z, she has a YouTube channel entitled, “Donesha’s Coven” where she showcases her rapping/music skills, talks about her beauty and fashion interests, as well as letting her followers in on her personal life.
