PRIAH FERGUSON OF ‘STRANGER THINGS’ TAKES US INSIDE HER NEWLY DESIGNED BEDROOM

"I'd Describe My Room As Casual Vintage"

Priah Ferguson is a supporting actress on Netflix’s Stranger Things whose personality often shines through. The young star recently took PEOPLE into her home to show off her newly designed bedroom.

Priah will have her space for the first time after sharing a room with her sister for the past few years. “I was excited to have my own room and use my voice to show my personal style,” Ferguson tells media. “I’m transitioning from little girl to a middle schooler and I wanted my space to feel more mature.”

There is definitely a sense of relaxation that comes with the color scheme and overall setup of Priah’s room. The champagne colors combined with touches of gold and black are just enough to bring enough liveliness to the scene.

“I really love those all-white, Midcentury Modern homes with gigantic windows and straight lines,” Ferguson shares. “I’m kind of a ‘neat freak’ and organization makes me happy. I wanted my personality to shine through without the room feeling cluttered or washed out.”

There are remnants of vintage coupled with a bit of elegance in Priah’s room. Still, the young star wants to bolster casual living through the makeup of her space.

“I’d describe the room as casual vintage, with touches of glam here and there,” Ferguson says. “My goal was to make it feel laid-back, but include some charm and fun too,” she adds.

“My bedding is my favorite item, especially my ‘roar’ pillow,” Priah reveals. “The message makes me feel empowered,” she continues. “I told my mom I didn’t want any bright pinks or hearts, which are used for really young kids or babies. But, when I saw the bedding, I thought it was perfect! The blush and green, along with gold and black accents are interesting together.”

Catch the latest season of Stranger Things – starring Priah Ferguson, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, and many more – on Netflix.
