Matt Barnes is expecting a child with Beverly Johnson’s daughter, Anansa Sims. News of the couple’s expectancy spread this past weekend.
“Only you know what my heart sounds like from the inside out #halfwaythere,” Anansa captioned underneath a photo of herself posing while showing off her bump in a bathing suit. Simms appeared unbothered by the camera that caught her in the perfect light. The expectant model was definitely in her element as she closed her eyes while basking in the water while vacationing in Waikiki, Hawaii. “You are a beautiful woman,” one fan commented. “You are glowing,” another follower wrote. Anansa does have the pregnancy glow, doesn’t she?
The baby will be the first between Anansa Sims and Matt Barnes. The model kept her relationship with the former NBA player under wraps. Anansa did, however, share a post that implied her status as being in a relationship last month. “I’ve been waiting my whole life for someone like you,” Anansa shared. Now we know that Barnes is the “you” Sims was referencing in the post.
The last we heard from Anansa Sims was in 2014 when the model welcomed a son with her then-husband, David Patterson. Dean Danny Benjamin Patterson was born on June 20, 2014, at 2:28 PM. “Dean weighed 8lbs 12ozs and was 22 and 1/2 inches,” Anansa said.
