Hoda Kotb is happy to celebrate her fifty-fourth birthday with her daughter, Haley Joy Kotb. The TODAY co-host took to Instagram on Thursday morning.
“54. And I get her. I can’t believe I get to do this,” Hoda wrote online. “Grateful,” the celebrity mom shared.
“She’s a very lucky little girl to have you too,” one fan exclaimed. “I saw you yesterday on the street,” another follower said. “You looked so happy and smiley! I see why.”
Hoda Kotb shared the joys of motherhood with Ellen DeGeneres during a recent interview. “I was 52 [years old], and I had thought about having kids for a long, long time,” Hoda shared.
“One day, I was sitting with my boyfriend and I said to him, ‘I’m going to have to talk to you about something because I can’t push it down anymore, push it away.’ I said, ‘Don’t answer now. Take a day. Take a week. Take some time.’ I said, ‘But I want to talk to you about this.’ And he said, ‘Okay. What is it?’ And I said, ‘I would like to explore adoption with you.'”
Exploring adoption has been nothing but pure joy for Hoda. Haley is the co-host’s only child.
