Teyana Taylor joined other celebrities in playing soccer at the International Champions Cup’s House of Soccer 2018 event in West Hollywood this past weekend.
Draymond Green and Odell Beckham, Jr., definitely gave the crowd an entertaining spectacle as they engaged in a penalty kick showdown to remember. Teyana played on the winning team. “#FamJam soccer game was littty yesterday,” Teyana exclaimed the day after her victory on the field. “The team and I snagged dat win,” the recording artist continued. “I’m paying for it this morning.” Adrenaline does wonders for the body until it wears off.
Of course, the support from Teyana’s side at the soccer game would not have been complete without the celebrity mom’s daughter cheering for her mom from the sidelines. You know that little Junie got hyped for the team!
It was just the other week that Teyana Taylor sat down with Billboard to discuss her career in relation to her role as a mother. “Legacy means everything to me,” Teyana shared. The celebrity mom went on to tell the media source that she wants to be a parent who lets her child carve her own path in life.
“There is no pressure for her to become who we see her as,” Taylor shared. “No one wants to go through that. So, I definitely want her to lead her own way, and do what she wants to do. I will be there to support her one hundred percent. I will put a couple of businesses in her name. So, even if she does not make up her mind, or know what it is she wants to do immediately, she will automatically be a business owner.”
The celebrity mom went on to tell Billboard, “I want her to be independent no matter what. She does not need to feel like she ever needs a man. There is no need to depend on a man to do anything for you. Now when you get married, if they do nice things for you, that is fine. But, God forbid, your relationship doesn’t work out, you need to be good. You have to do things on your own and in return, you will be able to do things for him.”
