How did she do it? Khloe Kardashian has lost around 33 pounds since giving birth to her daughter, True Thompson, and we’re curious as to how she lost the weight.
“After I had True, I didn’t put any pressure on myself to lose the baby weight,” she tells her blog readers. “I just wanted to get back to my regular routine from before I got pregnant, which was working out five to six times a week.”
Consistent workouts have obviously paid off. “True turned 3 months old on July 12,” Khloe explains. “Since then, I’ve lost 33 pounds! I’m shocked that I lost that much weight that quickly. I’m chalking this up to the combination of breastfeeding and being very active during and after my pregnancy.”
Khloe Kardashian has been quite the inspiration in the fitness sector. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star debuted what is now dubbed as her “revenge” body a few years ago and has encouraged others to get active and fit.
“I was going through my divorce, and I just really needed an outlet,” Khloe said of the beginnings of her body transformation during a 2016 interview with Health magazine. “I had turned to food and had an unhealthy relationship with food my whole life, and I was like, ‘Food has never helped me lose weight.’ So I joined Equinox, and I would go there and put my headphones on and get on the elliptical or the stairs, and no one would bother me or ask me questions.”
Khloe later hired a personal trainer, Gunnar Peterson, who helped her take baby steps in the nutrition segment. “I cut out sodas, then I went dairy-free for two weeks, and I lost 11 pounds,” Kardashian shared with media.
Now, after years of consistency, Khloe can give us all pointers on health and wellness. Stay tuned to see how the celebrity mom continues to handle fitness as a mom!
