Tracy Morgan has been in the media’s eye quite frequently these past few weeks because of his new series, The Last O.G.. The actor recently explained the significance of the television series.
“The Last O.G. is part of my life,” he explained to the New York Times. “The people I’ve known. The people I’ve lost. The drugs I sold. The people I hurt. This is for them. I’m sorry. This is to honor you. I didn’t mean it. I was just trying to survive.”
Surviving is something that Tracy Morgan kept at the forefront during rehabilitation sessions after his horrendous 2014 crash. The impact of a tractor-trailer barreling through the comedian’s stopped luxury bus left him with a severe brain injury that sometimes causes him to forget things such as dates. Still, Tracy remains grateful and optimistic.
“I have to ask myself, because of what I’ve been through, was I better then or am I better now,” Tracy revealed. “I’m a better man now,” he affirmed. “I’d rather be a good man than a funny man, any day.”
Tracy Morgan is the proud father of four children. Catch his life’s story by streaming The Last O.G. on Amazon Prime.
