"I've Dealt With A Lot Of Negativity On Instagram"

Why must we compare? Aoki Lee Simmons recently told her social media fans that some people make comparisons between her and her older sister, Ming Lee Simmons, with every intention of putting Aoki down.

“I used to be very picky about pictures and not really show my face,” Aoki wrote in an emotionally-charged note. “[I] would often not post pictures of cool events or important moments because I didn’t like my smile or I was standing next to my beautiful sister. It’s easy to get insecure when your sister and mom are models.”

The teen went on to reveal, “I’ve dealt with a lot of negativity on Instagram, comments saying I’m not as pretty as my big sister (who is the best by the way). We all want to look nice in our photos but I’ve tried to let all of that go and just post pictures where I look happy or was actually having a good time. I try not to worry who I’m standing next to and just share good moments with you guys.”

It was just a few days ago that Aoki Simmons was photographed while standing next to her older sister while in Greece on charitable business. The girls were learning the many ways in which they could help The Unmentionables movement increase stamina, and Aoki looked just fabulous while standing beside her older sister.

In fact, the teen’s words regarding cyberbullies were so moving that Ming shared Aoki’s post with her Instagram fans. “I literally aspire to be my sister,” Ming captioned.

Ming and Aoki Simmons are Kimora Lee Simmons’ daughters with Russell Simmons. Stay tuned for more celebrity family news!
