Yara Shahidi is one of the most recognized names and faces in Hollywood today. She is not only a talented actress, but the rising star is a passionate activist, philanthropist, and fashionista, sharing a true love for fashion with the world.
Recently the future Harvard student, who serves as a US ambassador for the House of Chanel, got an opportunity to enjoy a glamorous get-a-way, in Normandy, France, to celebrate the brand’s newest trio of fragrances.
“Fashion, feminism, and activism are super connected,” states the actress in an interview with Vogue. “[Coco Chanel] revolutionized what it meant to be a woman and comfort and individuality being first. She was the first to vocalize that corseted outfits weren’t comfortable, taking cues from men’s suiting instead.”
