The area that received the most attention during the redesign process was the kitchen. There was a large double-decker granite center island that had to go. “It just wasn’t our style,” Adam reveals. “The upper level was so high that I could barely reach the middle of it, and I’m six-three. So for Tamera, basically half of the island was unusable.”
Adam and Tamera prefer the laid back approach when it comes to home design, which is why they chose the Napa Valley as their second home in the first place. “Nothing is too pristine; it’s very natural,” Tamera says of the region. “I wanted to create that in our kitchen.”
We can only imagine how much fun Tamera and Adam’s kids, Aden and Ariah, have in the kitchen when cooking with mom. Stay tuned for more Housley family news!
