Kids sometimes cover their ears when adults engage in foul language. Andrew Brown, the oldest son of actor Sterling K. Brown, both listens to and appreciates profanity.
“There’s a ‘no profanity’ clause [in my house],” Sterling tells Us Weekly. “But Andrew, my oldest, generally encourages free and open banter from adults because every time they slip up, he gets a dollar — two for an F-bomb! He’s very smart.”
Sterling stars in the upcoming action-packed film, Artemis Hotel. The actor certainly had to engage in a bit of preparation for his starring role in the film, but Sterling didn’t have to revolutionize his exercise regimen for his big screen character.
“When I’m not in season for This Is Us, I get more time to workout,” Brown reveals. “If anything, I turned the dial from a seven to a nine. I play a lot of basketball because it’s working out without thinking about working out. I’ve actually stopped lifting heavy weights. In grad school, my teachers told me I was too big and wasn’t allowing emotions to flow through me. So I changed to high reps, low weight. I’ll leave the bulk to my brother [and costar] Mr. Dave Bautista.”
Hotel Artemis is a film that centers on a futuristic Los Angeles that is every bit dangerous. Criminals can benefit from the instability that is a riotous culture, which is why Hotel Artemis exists. Just consider this place a privatized hospital especially for criminals. The Nurse (Jodi Foster) is the one running the show, here.
