This past Saturday, Meghan Markle made history as she married her prince and became a member of the Royal Family. Well, there was another history-making moment at the royal wedding when Cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason wowed guests with his amazing talent.
The support over the last few days has just been overwhelming. I keep getting messages about one of the first tracks I recorded, an arrangement of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’. I performed it at the @bafta awards in 2017 and was honoured to be asked back to perform again this year with my family. ? Full track can be found in the link in bio if you’d like to listen to more! ? #hallelujah #kannehmason #bafta #leonardcohen
Kanneh-Mason was supposed to have performed this past weekend with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, but instead got another call-to play for the queen!
Having been dubbed in the Twittersphere as “Cello Bae,” this 19-year-old British musician is capturing hearts while making music.
