Where has the time gone? Rodney “Rocko” Hill, Jr. is officially a teenager, and we’re still stuck on the younger years. Monica Brown took to Instagram to celebrate her firstborn son.
“Happy 13th Birthday to the Beginning of my new life and first of my three Greatest Accomplishments,” Monica wrote online. “Your calm spirit helped me to see that life’s what you make it,” she added. “You’re witty, smart, mature and unbothered nature is admirable. Your sense of directions impeccable, best of all you lead versus follow!! So much greatness awaits you and when you look for me, I’ll be there.”
Monica also shared pictures from her son’s birthday party in which smores and games took precedence. Laiyah, the teen’s younger sister, certainly enjoyed herself as she made smores with her mom. “S’mores at ‘Camp Rocko’s’ with My Princess @laiyahshannon,” Monica told her Instagram fans. “Baby Girl is a bundle of joy,” the celebrity mom added. “She wakes up hugging and smiling !! We will ensure that never changes.”
These past few days have been quite monumental for Rodney Jr. and the family. Not only did the teen celebrate his thirteenth birthday, but he also had the opportunity to see his older brother graduate from Clark Atlanta University. “Milestones are meant to be memorable,” Monica exclaimed. “This one is for the history books,” she continued. “Seeing them so happy for one another says that their bond is an endless one.”
Monica and husband Shannon Brown have one child, Laiyah, together. Rodney Hill, Jr. and his younger brother, Romelo, are Monica’s kids with Rodney “Rocko” Hill Sr.
