Congratulations to Shamea Morton and her husband, Gerald Mwangi, on the expectancy of their first child. The Real Housewives of Atlanta guest tells Us Weekly about her pregnancy journey.
“I am due around Thanksgiving,” Shamea tells media. The reality star shared news of her and her husband’s expectancy at her 36th birthday party, which was on May 13, 2018. Talk about perfect timing!
“No one knew except my husband and my sister,” Shamea says of the gathering. “Porsha was trying to give me Hennessy, I was telling her I was waiting for my birthday to drink. She knew I was lying, she was like, ‘B*tch you are pregnant.'”
Some may remember Shamea and Gerald’s wedding preparations playing out on this past season of Real Housewives of Atlanta. Porsha was portrayed as the unsupportive friend because she could not get away from her commitments long enough to attend Morton’s wedding ceremony in Africa. Still, Shamea moved past the tension and is now on her way to becoming a mom.
“God has blessed me so much,” Morton tells Us. “I’ve got a great husband that I love so much. I’ve got awesome, awesome friends and family,” she adds. “The only thing I can ask is for a healthy baby.”
