Blue Ivy Carter is a natural-born star, according to her grandfather, Matthew Knowles, who sees the talent in his granddaughter.
“Blue Ivy is a star. She is just a star. I can see,” he reveals exclusively to Us Weekly. “She reminds me a lot of Beyonce and Solange when they were that age,” Matthew adds.

It wouldn’t be much of a surprise if Blue did become a child entertainer who evolves into an adult superstar. After all, her mom, Beyonce, began her trails in music when she was a little girl and was quite the popular entertainer by her teen years. Of course, now, Bey is a worldwide sensation who has given us numerous hits.
Will Blue follow in her mom’s footsteps? Maybe so, maybe no.
“I would support anything and everything,” Matthew says of his 6-year-old granddaughter. “I only have one criteria: Is that your passion? Is that the thing that excites you when you go to bed at night and you can’t wait until the next day? If it is your passion, then you have a huge chance of being successful. It can’t be what I want or what your mother and father want. It needs to be what you want to do. So if that was [her] passion, absolutely, I would be all for it.”
