Is Cardi B expecting a baby girl? Maybe so, maybe no. The rapper’s younger sister, Hennessy Carolina, may have accidentally revealed the gender of Cardi B’s unborn child.
Hennessy wrote a beautiful open note to her sister this past weekend that some people believe is telling of the gender of Cardi B’s baby. “A baby is truly a blessing from God I know how much you always wanted to be a mom,” Hennessy exclaimed. “You always been Like a second mom to me so I know u gonna be the best mommy everrrr. you took care of me like I was ur own daughter I know how much you LOVE babies.”

Hennessy went on to express why she was so excited about her older sister’s pregnancy. “I use[d] to wish I was older than you just so I would’ve gotten the chance to carry you and give you kisses when you were a baby because you were so cute and adorable! and NOW that ur baby is coming its like it’s coming true,” the aunt-to-be explained.
“I’m going to be able to hold ur baby and give the baby all the kisses and hugs,” Hennessy continued. “Your pregnancy is mine,” she added. “We pregnant. Can’t believe we’re having a baby!” Hennessy modified her initial letter to reflect gender neutrality. An earlier version of the social media post read, “Give her all the kisses and hugs.” Does this mean that Cardi B is having a girl? Perhaps.

The public learned of Cardi B’s expectancy during her performance on Saturday Night Live. the artist rendered the rhymes of her song, “Be Careful,” as the camera strategically shed light on her protruding stomach. The crowd went wild as they viewed Cardi’s bump in the spotlight.
“I don’t know if it’s the strength of the fetus, but I have never felt so hungry to succeed,” Cardi said during her co-hosting gig with Jimmy Kimmel on Monday’s episode of The Tonight Show. “I’m doing it all until I give birth,” she assured her fans.
