Kevin Hart and his kids, Heaven and Hendrix, were three of many Hollywood notables in attendance at the Pacific Rim: Uprising premiere this past Wednesday (March 21). The screening was held at TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX in Hollywood, California.
Heaven and Hendrix stood beside their father as the three of them took pictures in front of decoratives on the red carpet. Hendrix folded his arms while striking a pose next to his dad. Kevin placed an arm around both of his kids’ shoulders to make the candids that much more precious.
Pacific Rim: Uprising is slated by some critics to have the momentum to surpass Marvel’s Black Panther in this weekend’s box office sales. Marvel’s epic film has held the crown of number one since its debut last month.
Scott Eastwood, who stars as Nate Lambert in the film, delves into the importance of diversity in Sci-Fi and superhero films such as Pacific Rim during a recent interview with Screen Rant. “I think that doing films, doing big global films like this with multicultural casts are really important, especially in this day and age,” he explained. “I think it’s cool, everyone’s really represented well and I like that for a big global film.” We couldn’t agree more!
