Jordan Peele is the proud father of a son. So how’s fatherhood treating this Get Out director handling parenting duties while planning for his next theatrical hit? Quite well.
“He’s over 7 months now. Every day is a joy,” Jordan tells PEOPLE. “You just get a little bit more of the person. You meet a little bit more of the person. Seeing that smile or recognition is everything,” the celebrity father explains.
Peele goes on to tell media about his life as a new father. His experience is not like others who are often “Team No Sleep” during the infant months. “I’m committed to my sleep. I need my sleep,” Jordan shares. “I’m getting more than if I were shooting a movie right now,” he adds.
Peele and his wife, Chelsea Peretti, have gotten overwhelming support from their public base ever since announcing the expectancy of their son, Beaumont. Many fans wonder when will the youngster be allowed to watch his father’s hit film, Get Out. “I don’t know,” Peele says, “probably 9 or 10. It will be early.”
Will little Beaumont Peele be a comedic genius like his parents? We’ll just have to wait and see! Stay tuned for more Jordan Peele celebrity father news!
