Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting their son to arrive this spring. The celebrity mom stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday to reveal her unborn child’s due date and more.
“I’m having a baby boy in the spring. I’ll tell you — it’s June,” Teigen exclaimed. Chrissy went on to explain her and John’s logic behind naming their son.

“Boy names are really tough and I don’t think he will even have a middle name because we can’t even come up with a first name,” the celebrity mom said. “I’m toying with Dick Legend a lot,” she admitted.
Some may wonder why Chrissy and John wouldn’t want to name their first son after his father. “John and his ego was like, ‘I don’t want him to feel like he has to live up to that,'” Chrissy revealed. “I was like ‘Wow, you are a jerk.'”
We learned of John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s expectancy several months back when the couple’s daughter, Luna, broke the news to social media fans. Luna told Chrissy’s public that a baby was inside of her mother’s stomach. “It’s John’s,” Teigen mused in the caption spot on Instagram.
The celebrity mom certainly had no problems with naming her and John’s first child. She told Ellen, “There was a blood moon happening. It was like a very beautiful night. Really big, vivid red moon — just gorgeous. And I have this love for space, and I think about space camp all the time and my days at space camp as a youngster, so I just thought ‘Luna’ was perfect.” Indeed, it was!
