Starr Andrews is becoming one of the most recognized names both on and off the ice. There are not many African-Americans in the sport of figure skating. How did you get your start?
My mother was an adult figure skater and started to figure skate before I was even born. When I was born she continued to skate and I would sit on the bleachers and watch. I would beg her to skate but at that time there weren’t any skates small enough to fit my tiny little feet. When my feet were big enough to fit in the skates I starting skating.
