Eva Marcille has moved on from her past. The celebrity mom tells ESSENCE that she and her daughter’s father, Kevin McCall, are not on talking terms. In fact, the two aren’t even in the same hemisphere with regard to conversations and relationships.
“We don’t have a relationship”, Eva says. “He’s blocked on all my social media. I have full custody of my daughter and her dad is Michael Sterling, so he is a blast from the past and a memory.”
Kevin McCall has been in the news lately because of things, good and bad, he’s been saying about his daughter’s mother. The singer recently went so far as to say that Black women work too hard as a sort of jab at Eva who holds down several jobs at once to ensure that her daughter, Marley Rae, has stability.
“I do not let him affect my day-to-day in any shape, form or fashion,” Eva reveals. “But I do pray him success, and more-so than anything, peace of mind. Marley is the priority, the biggest priority of my life, outside of my newest child and my fiancĂ©. And at the end of the day, despite personal feelings, she deserves a level of stability, tranquility, and sanity. And [that’s] my job as a parent, no matter how hard it is for me to provide that for her, but that’s my job.” We agree!
Eva Marcille will soon be the mother of two children when she and fiance Michael Sterling’s son arrives in coming weeks. The Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star is also planning to marry Mr. Sterling later this year. Stay tuned for all of the fun!
