Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians was one where secrets were revealed and the raw truth came to the forefront. From Khloe touching base with her little sister Kylie about a toaster that was allegedly purchased for her mom to Kim and Khloe confronting their mom about the secrets and lies, the episode was both hilarious and revealing. Equally interesting was the segment where Kim Kardashian got real about the surrogacy process.
“Getting a surrogate and finding someone that you really trust really is so much more for difficult of a situation than you could really imagine,” Kardashian confessed. “You have to like make sure that their lifestyle is healthy and they have to go through psychological testing, and it was maybe a year before we finalized our current situation.”
Kim went on to tell her sister, Khloe, “This is the craziest waiting game.” The reality star further explained, “It’s so frustrating. It’s really nerve-wracking because you know it’s only a 60 percent chance it’ll take. One didn’t work for me [before I became pregnant with Saint]. I tried it and I lost one of them.”
The good news is that all things went through and Kim and her husband, Kanye West, are expecting their third child via surrogate. The little one, a girl, will join her big brother, Saint, and big sister, North, at home next year.
