Kairi Chanel Brewster is running the spotlight on her terms. The daughter of Dave East was spotted in New York City right before her appearance on TRL with dad.
Kairi wasn’t in the mood to take pictures immediately but wanted the selfie to herself when she was ready for a shot taken by a fan. The toddler grabbed her father’s face to imply that she wanted to be the main attraction in the candid. You got it, Kairi!

The toddler also made an epic showing on TRL. Dave East was saying some great things about his new mixtape, Karma, but viewers were engulfed by Kairi’s cuteness. The little one stayed in the spotlight long enough to make her presence known but quickly retreated to the sidelines where her grandmother was waiting.
“Honestly, I feel like everything I’ve done up until this point kind of came back around,” Dave East says of his decision to name his mixtape Karma. “Just my hard work,” he added, “it’s starting to pay off.”

Indeed, it is. Karma was a smash hit on its release date, which happened to be Black Friday. Many were thrilled by the fact that Dave gave away copies of his artwork, though the masses would have been willing to pay for everything the recording artist’s latest project brings.
