Jaden Smith is probably one of the most recognized faces among members of #younghollywood today. The young actor, model, entrepreneur and activist, has made headlines in every all of those listed arenas and more.
With 6.4 million followers on Twitter and 6.3 million on Instagram, Smith has definitely developed a cult-like following of young and old that are eager and anxious to stay plugged into what the young rising star has to say.
Recently, Smith sat down with HighsNobiety to talk about exactly who is Jaden Smith. And of course, the one message that he he has for fans is unquestionably and uniquely Jaden, who feels it is his mission to reach the masses via the internet. Simply and plainly put, Smith wants people to merely, “love themselves.”
“I hope to see more people start to love themselves and release music and products in general,” he tells HighsNobiety. “I hope to see people start to trust their vision more and to go full speed towards what they want in their life, and to really go and grasp what they want instead of just sitting back.”
Smith goes on to admit in the interview that although he may seem like the pillar of strength when reacting to criticism, that sometimes, it is actually a very hard pill for him to swallow. “It’s hard for me to bear it sometimes, you know?” Smith states. “And I haven’t always been able to bear it in the way that I do.”
