Masika Kalysha is focused on parenting and making a good life for her daughter, Khari Barbie. The celebrity mom stopped by KTLA on Friday to talk about her life as a mom and the upcoming season of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.

“I’m a mom now. So my concern is my daughter,” Masika said when questioned about her response to drama with cast members. “I have to think about her,” Kalysha added. “So there’s just certain things that I ‘m not willing to do. And it’s like, I always have her looking up to me. I can’t stoop down to that level anymore.”

Refusing to stoop to “that level” includes ignoring outside influence when co-parenting Khari with Fetty Wap. “I think we’ve actually had a very good relationship,” Masika revealed. “I really feel like social media has taken the arguments that we’ve had and just made it like it’s been forever. But I think we do a great job co-parenting. We have really good communication.”

Masika and Fetty have positive vibes that extend to him changing diapers. “He doesn’t like to change diapers,” Kalysha told KTLA. “When I know she’s about to take a good poop, I’ll be like, ‘Oh, I’m going to do to the grocery store.’ So he gets in there and does what he needs to do.”
