Kim Kardashian has a lot to say about parenting and her career in show business. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star shares the source of her motivation and more with Harper’s Bazaar:Arabia.
“When you have kids it keeps you motivated,” she says. “I want to have something on my own. I feel good when I get up and go to work and am busy all day. That makes me happy. If I just, like, retire I would definitely be more of a stay at home mom, but I want my kids to have a really strong work ethic and see how motivated mom and dad really are.”
The star mom goes on to tell the magazine, “Life scares me. Just thinking of all the things that can go wrong. When you’re a mom you turn into this maniac that just thinks anything and everything can go wrong.”
One thing that can never go wrong with Kim is her confidence. “At the end of the day, I still have to be me,” the star says in response to the backlash that sometimes comes because of her provocative attire and photos online. “If doing sexy shoots makes me feel confident, then I’m okay with it,” Kim adds. “That might not be appropriate for some people, and there’s a time and a place. There’s certain things I’ll show my kids and certain things I won’t show my kids. But generally, I am okay with it.”
Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West are the proud parents of two kids. The West’s daughter, North, celebrated her fourth birthday in June, while their son, Saint, turns 2-years-old in December.
