The fashion spirit of Jackie Kennedy lives on in Kim Kardashian-West. The celebrity mom revives the former first lady’s style in her latest cover of Interview magazine.

Of course, Kim doesn’t pay homage to the Kennedy era alone. The reality star has her daughter, North West, by her side to help her pull off the look. North wears a cute dress in the magazine’s shots that match her mom’s classical themed attire. One picture especially shows off the in-sync styles of Kim and North as it is a photo of the star mom embracing her daughter while propped against a wall.
Kim tells Interview that she and North are still getting used to having so much of their lives in the public’s view. “We share so much all the time on the show,” Kim says of her and the family’s reality series, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which trails the life of Kim along with her sisters and mom. “I obviously get a little bit more protective of my daughter because that’s always been such a struggle,” Mrs. West adds.
“We have strict rules about the kids. Some seasons they’re not on at all. Some seasons they’re on a little bit, just to show a bit of personality, although there are never storylines about them. But then there’s social media, on which I’ve always been really open. When I’m out and people call North’s name, that’s when it’s weird for me. She lives such a normal life, believe it or not, at home.”
Normal includes North renaming the family dog, who made its social media debut a couple months back, several times. “She changes that poor dog’s name all the time,” Kim tells media. “We had to pick one and stick with it, so I said, ‘Her name is Sushi. We’re going with that.'”
