WATCH! GIANNA BRYANT MASTERS ONE OF HER FATHER’S SIGNATURE B-BALL MOVES

Kobe Bryant’s middle child, Gianna, is definitely following in her father’s footsteps. The youngster was recently filmed while mastering one of Kobe’s signature basketball moves.

Kobe shared the video clip on Instagram in commemoration of his daughter’s birthday in May. “Happy Birthday to this lil lady,” the former Los Angeles Lakers player captioned. The footage captured Gianna doing her dad’s epic “Turnaround Baseline Jumper” move that gave Kobe much success during his 20-year stint as a professional basketball player. “That turn around ‘J’ tho,” one follower wrote. “She’s gonna be good,” another fan shared.

Gianna has been hard at work perfecting her skills on the court for a while now. It was just a few months ago that Kobe told media that his tween daughter followed the instructions of her coach to the letter and wasn’t afraid to tell him when his advice contradicted what her teacher said.

Meanwhile, Kobe Bryant has been making the most of his time since retirement. The former NBA player recently launched the Mamba League, which is a program designed to help aspiring child basketball players hone their craft.

“Right now, I think we’re putting too much pressure on these kids too early, and they’re not learning the proper technique of how to shoot the ball, or proper technique of spacing,” Kobe said of his new organization a few months back. “It winds up eating away at their confidence. As teachers, we need to have patience to teach things piece by piece by piece. Over time, they’ll develop as basketball players, but you can’t just rush it all at once.”

Gianna is definitely taking her time by mastering one component of the game at a time. Stay tuned for more Kobe Bryant celebrity dad news!
