Like father, like son! Chris Tucker and his son, Destin, attended the premiere of EuropaCorp and STX Entertainment’s Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets on Monday at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
The father-son duo took the spotlight by storm with Destin rocking casual wear and Chris wearing formal attire to the event. Can we just take a moment to acknowledge how much Destin favors his father’s physical appeal? Strong genes, indeed, Chris!
Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets is a Science Fiction film that places the fate of the universe in the hands of two special operatives. Valerian (Dane DeHaan) and Laureline (Cara Delevingne) must find the menace threatening the Alpha, a large metropolis that is home to thousands of planets, before it destroys a large chunk of the universe. Can they accomplish their mission before time runs out? You’ll have to wait and see when the movie comes to theaters on July 21, 2017.
As for Chris Tucker, the verdict is still out on whether he will be joining the cast of Next Friday, which allegedly got the green light in funding a few weeks ago. “You know what? I can’t comment on that,” he told Human Nature at the 2017 Coach Woodson Invitational in Las Vegas earlier this month. “I’m at the golf tournament trying to have some fun,” he added. “You guys will have to wait for that.”
