Introducing York Banks Asla! Tyra Banks shared a photo of her son with Instagram fans that showed the little one’s face for the first time.
York appeared to reach for the camera while exploring the nature around him in the candid. “To all the amazing daddies out there that love their kids unconditionally like my mommy’s daddy and my daddy, too…HAPPY FATHER’S DAY,” Tyra wrote on her son’s behalf. More than 75,000 followers gave thumbs up to the photo with dozens leaving positive comments. “Omg he’s so cute,” one fan wrote. Another of Tyra’s subscribers took notice of how York “has the smize down already.”
Tyra and her boyfriend, Erik Asla, welcomed their son last January. Little York came by way of a surrogate to a couple who was more than thrilled to welcome a son.
“After York was born, I was planning more children but it’s not so easy for me because I couldn’t carry my son, and I didn’t want to keep putting chemicals into my body,” Tyra recently said of the possibility of more kids. “I might adopt one day – I’ve always wanted to adopt, actually,” she revealed.
Many already see workings of a model-in-training in York. Are Tyra and Erik planning to add more little superstars to their family in the future? We’ll have to wait and see.
