Working from home was a dream that Ayesha Curry had for years, which is why the opportunity to film her food show, The Seasoned Life from the comforts of her kitchen was exciting.
“I’m such a homebody,” Ayesha revealed during a recent interview with Eater. “Besides food, pajamas are my favorite thing in the whole world. And so when I was told I could film this at home, I was like ‘Yes! I’ll get to be home with my girls and I’ll get to see them on my breaks.'”
Unfortunately, Ayesha’s dream of filming from home turned out to be more of a nightmare. “It was a nightmare because I would hear the girls cry and we’d have to wait for them to settle down,” the celebrity mom explained. “And then I couldn’t actually see them all day because I didn’t have as many breaks as I thought I would.”
Recording a television series from home has taught Ayesha that having the best of both worlds is filled with challenges. Working remotely, however, does come with many advantages one of which being Ayesha’s meal subscription service called Homemade.
“These recipes are literally recipes that I’ve developed at home and make for my family on a nightly basis,” Ayesha said during a recent promotional video for her business venture. She went on to tell Instagram fans, “We make it easy and stress-free to prepare a meal which ultimately creates more time for you and your family!”
