In a world that is sometimes going 100 mph plus, random acts of kindness are sometimes not seen enough. Ten-year-old fifth-grader, Leah Nelson is on a mission to change that with her program, “Becuz I Care”.
After seeing someone mistreated in her Sacramento school, Nelson decided that she wanted to encourage people to let each other know that they mattered and someone out there cares. As a way of spreading her mission, the tiny visionary designed bracelets with the words “Becuz I Care” and other positive messages. Nelson’s vision has caught on and both young and old are sporting bracelets world-wide.
