Robert Griffin III and his fiancee, Grete Sadeiko, are expecting their first child. The NFL player announced his engagement and expectancy this past weekend.
“Soulmate. Love of my life. Better Half. Perfect Someone. These are just a few things you @gretesadeiko represent for me,” Robert wrote online. “It is the greatest feeling to find the one who believes in love like you do and I have that,” he explained. “I found my peace. You deserve the world and I am honored to be the one to explore it with you and our beautiful baby to be. I love you, baby.”
Robert also shared a series of pictures of him and Grete enjoying time with family and friends at the beach. The gathering was apparently in honor of the impending arrival of the couple’s little one. Robert and Grete took several pictures that shed light on her bump.
Robert and Grete’s engagement and pregnancy announcement come several months after the NFL player filed for divorce from his wife, Rebecca Liddicoat. Proceedings to finalize the estranged couple’s marriage dissolution has been anything but private as a fan standing in solidarity with Rebecca created an Instagram account for the sole purpose of berating Robert online last November.
“A lie will get half way around the world before the truth,” Griffin said in response to the account that was closed shortly after it was opened. “That account attacking my family was fake and none of what was said was true. Whoever did it, you messed with the wrong one.”
Robert Griffin III and Grete Sadeiko are expecting their first child to arrive in coming months. The little one will join Robert’s daughter, Reese, at home.
