Marsha has been adjusting to life as a working mom quite well. The singer joined Eric Benet and others onstage at the BB Kings event in New York City earlier this week. “I know I make the music that makes the baby,” she told fans at the event. “Being a mother is the most beautiful, gratifying and terrifying feeling you can have. You have a new life that came into this world out of love, me and her father wanting this to be a reality. And now that she’s here, it’s like, wow we’re parents! I’m a mother,” Marsha gushed.
The celebrity mom’s excitement extends beyond the stage and into the studio as her newest single, ‘Luh Ya,’ talks about the life she enjoys as Nyla’s mom and fiancee of Dez Billups. “The look in your eyes, the feel, the warmest touch of your hand,” the lyrics state. “The last time I’d be kissing someone else, and no one else for me will do.”
