Samantha Mumba is such a mommy do-gooder! The singer was recently named ambassador of this year’s Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt, which will serve to benefit Barnardos.
It will be all about chocolate eggs from Friday, April 14, 2017, through Sunday, April 16, 2017, as the Cadbury hunt will be filled with the goodies. Kids and adults will be encouraged to search for the treats in the city centre park while being entertained by other activities planned for the holiday weekend. Music workshops, face painting stations, and a petting zoo are three of many slated past times.

Samantha Mumba is nothing short of excited for the upcoming event and she is already preparing her daughter, Sage Scales, to receive her “ears” at the community festival. “I am so excited to be involved in this year’s Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt in aid of Barnardos,” Samantha reveals to press. “It is such a great cause and it makes for the perfect family day out this Easter.”
All proceeds from tickets sold will go towards Barnardos and the crucial work that they do to improve the quality of life for children in Ireland. “Barnardos is Ireland’s leading independent children’s charity that works tirelessly for the well being of children across Ireland,” Jonathan Ryan of Mondelez Ireland says. “We are proud to support them again this year.”
Samantha is also proud as the charity hits close to home. Mumba has Irish roots and became a mom two years ago. She has celebrated her life as a parent ever since.

The singer commemorated her daughter’s second birthday earlier this month with a precious Instagram post. “Happy 2nd Birthday to the best daughter I could have ever wished for,” Samantha shared along with a picture of her daughter smiling while holding one of her wrapped gifts. “We love you SO much!”
