Jaden Smith has definitely shown us that when he is passionate about something, he definitely uses his celebrity to speak up and out! Recently, the eighteen-year-old actor, model, and rapper had the opportunity to speak during “The Future Innovator of the Year Challenge” panel at the EMA IMPACT Summit, hosted by the Environmental Media Association at the Montage Beverly Hills on March 23rd in Beverly Hills, CA.
Regaling his audience about how he became an EMA futures award recipient for his invention-JUST Water, Smith discussed the importance of renewable resources.
“After seeing the amount of ocean pollution and the effect it was having on marine wildlife, I couldn’t stand there and do nothing about it. I had to take action.”
JUST Water is made of 100% spring water from the Glens Falls watershed at the base of the Adirondack Mountains. JUST Water is packaged in paper-based bottles, primarily of renewable resources, including plant-based plastic sourced from sugarcane. To find out more about JUST Water, visit their website here.
