Ne-Yo and Crystal Smith celebrated their son Shaffer Smith Jr.’s first birthday this past weekend. The celebrity couple took to Instagram to commemorate their little one’s special day.
“SJ was so hype about his book,” Crystal shared along with a picture of her son being intrigued by one of his gifts. “He loves books just like mommy,” Crystal added. “The party was a hit thanks to @renishaspann and all the hard work everyone put in together!”
Ne-Yo also shared excitement over his son’s birthday. “My lil’ guy turned 1 the other day and I’m just now posting pics from the party,” the celebrity dad wrote on Instagram. “I’m late but I’m proud. We had a ball!! Thanx to everyone that attended. And thanx to my lovely wife @itscrystalsmith for proving me wrong. I honestly didn’t think SJ would care about all that. I WAS WRONG! He was LIT all day!!”
