Keshia Knight Pulliam and Ed Hartwell have turned a new page in their child custody battle. Recent documents show Ed admitting that he is the father of baby Ella Grace all while asking the courts to hold off on asking him to make child support payments.
TMZ reports,
“Ed Hartwell filed new docs in his pending divorce from the former TV star, and admits he’s their newborn daughter’s dad … as results from his long-awaited paternity test proved.
Here’s the thing though … Ed says he shouldn’t have to start shelling out dough yet — at least not until a court decides exactly how much he should pay in child support.”
Hartwell is allegedly doubtful that Keshia is in desperate need of financial support for baby Ella since her wealth as an actress is great. He is asking the courts to consider all factors, including his decision to set up a nursery for his daughter in his home, before ruling in Pulliam’s favor and forcing him to pay a large amount in child support.
Keshia Knight Pulliam’s child support case went to court three weeks ago, which was days after the actress gave birth. Keshia revealed her desire to take time off from work to bond with her daughter and claimed that she and Ella were in need of immediate financial support from Ed.
Ella Grace was born on January 23, 2017. She is Keshia Knight Pulliam and Ed Hartwell’s only child.
