Chance the Rapper has a secret for all of those fathers trying to figure out the best way to do their daughter’s hair: water, oil, and a really wide tooth comb. The recording artist shared his cheat sheet for doing his daughter Kinsley’s hair with Twitter fans on Sunday.
“Doin yo lil baby’s hair without that comb hurtin her head cheatcode,” the rapper began. Chance then presented the foolproof list to fans that consisted of water, argan oil, shea butter, and a “WIDE tooth comb (really wide).”

Chance has been the doting father ever since welcoming his daughter in 2015. The recording artist only recently started sharing photos and video footage of his daughter online and fans have been ecstatic.
“I have a daughter who’s going to be raised in this world, and my music and my art are powerful tools in getting that to be formed the way I want it to,” Chance said last year when expressing the importance of family in an interview with Complex. “I would do anything to make sure that my legacy lives on and is a healthy one, but I still look at it a little differently. I don’t think the legacy of the music is necessarily what I think about when I think of mine.”
Kinsley is Chance the Rapper’s first child. She celebrates her second birthday in September.
