Breakfast in the morning and naps in the afternoon: if only it were that easy. Tamera Mowry-Housley recently shared pictures of her son, Aden, and daughter, Ariah, with Instagram followers.
One photo shows Aden lying down on the floor while grinning. The little appears ready for a nap but Tamera says otherwise in her caption. “If only he REALLY took naps,” the celebrity mom writes. “Those days are over.” Another photo is of Ariah sitting down for a meal. “Lunch time peek-a-boo,” mom captions.
It’s been a few weeks since Tamera resolved to ditch “mommy guilt” in 2017 during a segment on The Real, and it looks as if she’s making good on her promise. Mrs. Housley got candid during the new season’s opening episode when she openly declared that she was no longer striving to be a perfectionist when it came to rearing her kids.
“My wish would be to try easier, not so hard,” Tamera shared. “In my life, the way I was raised, we were always taught to be the best that we can be all the time. That’s not a bad thing,” the co-host added. “It becomes a bad thing when you push yourself too hard. I’m always wanting to be the best mom, the best wife, the best friend, the best sister. I’m learning to relax and to enjoy the journey.”
Tamera and husband Adam Housley have two kids together. Aden celebrated his fourth birthday last November. Ariah turns 2-years-old this year.
